If we cannot schedule you for a class, you will get a full refund of course fees. You can also choose to be put on a wait list in case classes are opened in your preferred session or later in the summer.

Sail Chicago reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a class due to volunteer availability or severe weather conditions. Sail Chicago reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment.  Dates are subject to change.

If you cancel on or before the cancellation deadline for your session (see chart below), you will receive a refund, less a $50 materials/administrative fee.  After the cancellation deadline, there will be no partial refund.  Membership fees cannot be refunded. 

To cancel your registration, please alert us by email, at instruction@sailchicago.org.

Late registration: If you try to register for a program 7 days or less before the session start date, we cannot guarantee your spot or accept payment online. Please email instruction@sailchicago.org to find out if there are any openings. If we can accommodate you we will accept payment by check or credit card before the first day of the program.

Makeup classes:  If the instructor cancels a class due to weather or his/her illness, etc., Sail Chicago will schedule a makeup class.  As an all-volunteer organization, Sail Chicago does not have the means to schedule a makeup if you miss a class due to illness, travel, vacation, work, etc.  You may be able to make up the missed class in another time slot if space is available and the instructor approves.
