Motor Cruisers Sail Chicago owns and maintains three motor cruiser sailboats favored by sailors who "just have to have an engine and a head on board." Emotional Rescue Pictured at left, the "ER" is a 30 foot Alberg with an inboard engine, GPS, depth finder, flushing head, two cabins, galley, roller-furling jib, radio, and teak furnishing. Albergs are often recommended for extended ocean cruises. Be a passenger on an evening, day cruise, or extended across-the-lake cruise or take the ER class and check out to become an ER skipper. The ER is kept in DuSable Harbor and is used extensively for evening cruises. The Emotional Rescue is generally not scheduled for any programs on the weekends.
