Check Out Preparation/Check Out class builds on the skills from the Basic and Intermediate courses and focuses on the specific skills needed to pass the sailing exam on the Rhodes 19 in Monroe Harbor. Classes cover Sail Chicago procedures, harbor sailing, mooring departures and returns, crew overboard recoveries and emergency tactics.   

Prerequisite: Intermediate Sailing and instructor OK or equivalent sailing experience.  NOTE:  This class  combines the Check Out Preparation and individual checkouts into one three-session class.  Students planning on obtaining their Rhodes Skipper Card must take this course. 

 Cost: $50 for three classes.
