Basic Sailing Skills Class
An introductory on-the-water course designed for new sailors and those who have crewed on a sailboat but have not had much time at the helm. Over the course of five lessons (4 hours each) students learn to rig the boat, get underway, maneuver the boat upwind and downwind, tack and jibe, and return to the mooring. Classes normally meet once a week, however classes meeting more frequently (accelerated) are available by arrangement.
