Intermediate Sailing Skills Course

Intermediate Sailing is a follow on to Basic Sailing Skills Class. Through five classes (4 hours each) improve your boat handling ability and learn points of sail, right-of-way rules, safety, rescue techniques, and crew commands. The course is designed to prepare the student for their Skippercard checkout. Classes normally meet once a week, however classes meeting more frequently (accelerated) are available by arrangement.

Cost $240

Prerequisite: Dryland and Basic Sailing Skills class or Previous Sailing Experience.

Saturdays: 9:00 am or 1:00 pm
Sundays: 9:00 am, 1:00 pm or 6:00 pm
Weeknights: 6:00 pm
Weekdays: by arrangement

NOTE: All sessions (except Session 4) are 6 weeks long to allow for a makeup date in the event of bad weather. Session 4 consists of four lessons on two consecutive Saturdays or Sundays.
