Shields Qualification

Skipper training students need to have a Rhodes 19 skipper’s card. Five on-the-water sessions will focus on safety, rigging and adjustments, leaving and picking up a mooring, sailing through the harbor, man overboard, sail handling and trim, helming, piloting, and anchoring.

On-the-water classes are available Monday evenings during sessions I, II, and III. There will be an instructor, first mate and three students per class. Classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Classes may be scheduled on other days if demand warrants.

Contact Sam Veilleux for more information.

Cost:$150 per person. This includes check-out.
