| Legal Information Sail Chicago is open to anyone interested in its programs and is a nonprofit organization. Sail Chicago owns and operates a fleet of sailboats on Lake Michigan. We provide a reasonable alternative or enhancement to individual boat ownership and conduct all levels of sailing instruction among our members. Sail Chicago also promotes recreational sailing, racing, and socializing within the organization. Through volunteer efforts, we stress safe boat handling and an appreciation for the nautical arts as well as service to the sailing community of Chicago. |
